== Zephaniah  ==

Zephaniah means "Yahweh has hidden/protected," or "Yahweh hides."

It was likely written between  622 BCE or as late as 586 BCE.

The book [[Zephaniah]] focuses on "the day of the Lord", a tradition which also appears in [[Isaiah]], [[Ezekiel]], [[Obadiah]], and [[Joel]]. It often has to do with the [[wrath]] of God which is a way of referring to the ''cause and effect'' of creation.

Chapter 1 tells us of the Coming Judgment on Judah followed by the Great Day of the Lord,

We are told of a Judgment on [[Israel]]'s Enemies in Chapter 2.

By Chapter 3 we see a repeat of the common Wickedness of Jerusalem followed in verse 8 through 13 of its trials and Conversion as a Nations ending with a Song of Joy.
