Polites
The Greek term polites is from the Greek word polis meaning a city which includes some form of civil government.
This specific Greek term polites is defined specifically as "a citizen" or the "inhabitant of any city or country" or "polis" which could include people without a particular location but who conduct the civil affairs in a form of body politic as commonly expressed with words like politeuma[1] and the term politeuomai[2]. Both these terms come from polites[3] consistently meaning citizen and of course the term polis[4] which cane even refer to the people like the Nazarite Essenes.
