I am also reminded of 1Samuel 1:11, Hannah's vow to God when she prayed earnestly for her womb to be opened, "And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head."

It appears that "razor" means a razor from "mowrah", Strong's H4177. "Come" is "alah", Strong's H5927 and means to "go up, ascend, climb". And Head is "rosh", Strong's H7218 and means "head, top, summit, upper part, chief, total, sum, height, front, beginning."

So here Samuel is given completely to God as a sacrifice, which means that the order of priests raise the child, but notice this dedicated child the birth mother vows to never shave his head. I wonder if it was custom for all children that were given over to the Levites or the Apostles as gifts to God, to be adopted into the order as sons, dedicated from birth, to be bond servants of the Christ and the Father, were under the Nazerite vow, just like Yahushua ha Mashiach, Jesus the Christ, apparently was?
