PERMA model of well-being
- Positive Emotions: Cultivate feelings of hope, interest, joy, love, compassion, pride, optimism, and gratitude toward good and bad with equal enthusiasm.
- Engagement: Flow with all you touch and touches you in the present with the whole of thy self while sacrificing yourself with a complete focus and absorption in life's activities.
- Relationships: Encompass each and all social virtues in building and maintain the strength of all the social bonds which appear from the honest pursuit of the same.
- Meaning: Pursue a purpose larger than yourself, often through helping others.
- Accomplishment: Set goals and achieve them, fostering a sense of competence and success.[6]
Principles of a stoic
- Embrace the Truth of What You Cannot Control: Understand that certain things are outside your power and accept them with equanimity.
- Desire Nothing that which is rightfully Outside Your Control: Avoid craving external validation or things you can't influence, as this leads to unhappiness.
- Trust in Nature: See events as woven into a larger, interconnected pattern of existence.
- Live by Principle: Act in accordance with your deeply held moral values.
- Rely on Yourself: Withdraw into yourself to cultivate inner strength and focus on self-improvement.

Take Ownership: Acknowledge that you are responsible for your choices and how you handle challenges. Give More Than You Take: Focus on the effect you have on others and the value you contribute. Never Stop Learning: Cultivate a mindset of continuous learning and growth.
