Norman Vincent Peale was born May 31, 1898 and died December 24, 1993. During his long life he was known as an American Protestant clergyman but did he preach the Doctrine of Jesus?
As an author he popularized an ideology of positive thinking.
His book The Power of Positive Thinking (published 1952) changed the lives of many people, often in a good way but that does not make you a follower of Christ.
He did serve as the pastor of the Marble Collegiate Church in New York, from 1932 until his retirement in 1984.
This was part of what was called a Reformed Church in America and did support political candidates and their campaigns.
