Fundamental Internet Protocol

A "402 Payment Required" status code was included in the http layer of the Internet that was set aside to be used for digital payments. However, it was seldom used because a functional digital monetary system didn't exist until Bitcoin. The Bitcoin protocol allows for a fundamental recreation of the Internet (and businesses built on top of it) based on sound economic principals.
