False Faith

• Matthew 7:15: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves".
• Matthew 24:11: "And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray".
• Matthew 24:24: "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect".
• 2 Peter 2:1-2: "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them".
• James 2:14: "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?".
• James 2:17: "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead".
• 1 John 4:1: "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world".
• 1 John 4:5: "They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them".
• Romans 16:17-18: "I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
