On Acts 17:6 we read, "And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;"

The world had turned upside down a hundred years before. "In 509 B.C. Rome became a republic with permanent tyranny beginning in 31 B.C. under direction of the immortal Julius Caesar.

What changed that tyranny did become the way of the world?

What caused the people to degenerate and what made the word of God to none effect?

Have we changed the same thing in our own societies, institutions, and governments?

"Just Look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroys information, and religions destroy spirituality." Dr. Michael Ellner

What caused this change?

In Psalms 146:9 "The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked[1] he turneth upside down."

The early Church took care of the widows and orphans and needy of society through pure Religion which is a system of social welfare which was dependent upon faith, hope and charity through the perfect law of liberty.

The way of the world of Nimrod and the Nicolaitan, Babylon and Baalam, Sumer and Sodom, Pharaoh and the foolish, FDR and LBJ is not The Way of Christ, the Kingdom of God nor the righteousness of God.

The masses of the world had become accustomed to living at the expense of others through legal charity which like the Corban of Herod and the Pharisees were making the word of God to none effect.
