Slaves & Salvation Series
Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." I have been watching since 1962. My given name means watchful. What I do not see is Christians doing what the early Church did. I hear them say they believe in Jesus but I do not see them doing what Christ said. The early Church from day one was the "entire social welfare" of the followers of Christ who did not depend on the welfare of Rome or other "Benefactors" who exercised authority one over the other because Jesus said it was not to be that way with you. They had their own "Daily ministration" by ministers of Christ who dedicated their life to serving the people in spirit and in truth. Show me that and I will see true Christians.
The Bible was about setting men at liberty to be free souls under God. We were not to make covenants with the gods many of the World nor Covet the goods and labor of one another through "Benefactors who exercise authority one over the other". We were to love one another in faith, hope and charity by way of the "Perfect law of liberty". We were warned that "Covetous Practices" would make us "Merchandise" and curse our Children. Are we living in the "World" or of it. Where do you pray for salvation? Are you following The Way?
