Marc Stevens

Marc Stevens' approach is not “about the law, or about using the legal system to win your case.” It “is not that you will win, nor that you will get the laws changed; the net result is often enough that you will embarrass them so badly that they will dismiss the case simply to get you to go away and stop embarrassing them in front of other victims who are easier to fleece.”

The truth is once they know what you are up to they often move your case to the end of the docket and you will spend more time to get your day in court when there is no one left in court and then the judge will take his vengeance. It even states also on his website “There is no 'winning' (ultimately they have guns and the cages and are perfectly willing to use them).”

Marc has authored two books – the infamous Adventures in Legal Land which use to sell on his website for 25 dollars but it now said to get it on Amazon where I found it for 32 dollars. He wants to share the book with the world to “spread the truth [that he believes] 'governments' are gangs of killers, thieves and liars”. He also wrote the book “Government: Indicted”, which was released in November of 2013.

Marc states on his website that “once attacked by a bureaucrat you’ve already lost; this is to limit the damage they are going to do.” He then offers “Seminars & workshops” for admission like $75 dollars. And the site offers “Phone consultations with Marc. $100 p/hr.”

“The No State Project” mentioned regularly seems to me to be an oxymoron since no matter where we go we are always in one state or another. That “state” may be in the state of bondage or the state of freedom or the state of righteousness. Seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness may give us something that appears to be freedom but only according to the ways of God or Jesus who we call the Christ.

A prevalent phrase found on his website is “Bringing about a voluntary society one visitor at a time”.

To be honest I could find nothing that leads me to believe he is bringing about any kind of society other than a forum on his website. There was one person in the forum who was received very well by the group.

Damon: Poster Boy for Cognitive Dissonance pointed out on the people of the forum that “you have made agreements...you use the benefits so you must accept the burden that accompanies such use. You have waived your responsibilities and therefore your rights in hopes of a benefit. It is a covetous practice and keeps people enslaved.”

The followers of Marc know that the meaning of words in court are very important but so did Christ and the early church and the church in the wilderness.

You can be trapped by your words and it is likely you have been;

Proverbs 6:2 warns that “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” and the same thing in Matthew 12:36,37 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

And in Matthew 15:11 and 18 we see “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.... But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.” The “Pharisees were offended” by this and Jesus comments about their Corban but the firsts things out of the mouth of John the Baptist was that people should come together in a voluntary society and not use force to take care of the needs of the people.

That is the way the word Religion use to be defined. Religion was how you performed your duty to God which is to love one another and seek righteousness which included your duty to your fellow man. Today religion is supposed to be what you think about God. No one but Damon seemed to want to see that there is no separation of church and state which is really religion and the state. Since the state imposes many of its taxes and fines at least in part to provide for the cost of performing our duty to our fellow man the State nd Religion are one.

This takes us back to the idea of signing up for benefits or getting our benefit number which every State offers the people today. Marc talks about “ The nature of government and of tyrants” which is based on force and not the voluntary society of Jesus and John the Baptist and often seems to go about devouring who it wills.

Of course the Bible warns the people that they should not be biting one another or they might be devoured. This of course is what Damon was saying about taking benefits at the expense of your neighbor.

Even having the state take of your parents was a benefit. Dmon points this out in Marc's forum "Cursing your mother and Father is not taking care of them in their old age and not planning for this. Instead people give over their parents (their responsibilities just like the parents did to their children) to the State to care for them at their neighbors expense, again another covetous practice, that is why it is written,"

• Matthew 15:3,6 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?  For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.  But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 

He further explained this to them by saying, "Go to the social security administration (it is a gift). I have already made my sacrifice, let them care for you, I do not have to do any more (like lighten the burden on your neighbor for being compelled to contribute to your parents welfare). This is how one can make the Word of God to non effect. This is exactly what these scriptures here are talking about."

This was referring to what Jesus said about the Corban of the Pharisees making the word of God to none effect. We may have God given rights but if we do not take on the responsibility of those rights then we will make the claim of rights to none effect.
