Confirm
The word bebaioo from which confirm is translated in the New Testament appears also as the word establish [1] which is from the word bebaios meaning stable or more trustworthy.
An act of Baptism was an act of recognition and acceptance in confirmation of personal faith in The Way of John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ.
