Why did Jesus Say
Why did Jesus say the Corban of the Pharisees was making the word of God to none effect?[1]
Why did Jesus say Call no man on earth Father?[2]
When Jesus was giving final instructions to His appointed apostles why did Jesus say:
- "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so”[3]
When Jesus was asked about obtaining eternal life why did he say:
- “Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.”[4]
