Many of the early Greek texts do not contain the phrase "Son of God" in the Greek text but we see instead the phrase "Son of man". In John 9:35 the specifically we can see in the Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894, Stephanus Textus Receptus 1550, Byzantine Majority Text 2005, and Greek Orthodox Church do say "υἱὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ; huios toû Theou" Son of God. But in the Westcott and Hort 1881 and the Westcott and Hort NA27 and UBS4 variants We see υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου; huios toû anthropou, which is the Son of man. This is also in Nestle 1904, Tischendorf 8th Edition, and Greek Study Bible (Apostolic / Interlinear).
