Precepts of Christ are vital in the church. Precepts are not only those things we need to learn (by reading about it and by being able to quote back the content, like a parrot). Precepts are things we need to be doing. Each individual has duties and responsibilities, as laid out in the precepts.

The Psalms, for example, have much to say about trusting in God. This precept applied in one's personal and daily life leads to some thing. To what do you think it leads? How do you think this relates to the free church and the congregation?

Trusting God is only one among many precepts. What other precepts come to your mind? The church should be involved in the way of Life. What precepts has God shown you which leads toward life and blessings?
