Walk with us:

"The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute."

The early Christian Church before it was corrupted and went into apostasy was a way to depend upon each other through a network of small intimate groups that operated by faith, hope and charity which is the perfect law of liberty talked about by Paul.

They did not force their neighbors to contribute to their benefits as the socialist state of Rome were beginning to do but formed a free way to govern themselves and take care of their social welfare.

Christians knew that if they followed those covetous ways that "... their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. This precept was repeated over and over but modern coreligionists are the blind led by the blind.

The do not listen to men like Paul in Romans 11:9 "And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:" Nor Peter 2 Peter 2:3 "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

or Proverbs 23 "When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat."

They do not even keep the ten commandments Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour’s."

or seem to want eternal life or know and keep any law "What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet." Romans 7:7

We live a particularly vulnerable times and preparedness in an independent voluntary network is key to success of a viable society. Some societies are served by Federal Emergency Management Agencies and some societies are served by Faith Emergency Ministry Auxiliaries.

Which one are you creating?

Who are you going to call upon if you are affected by the next quake?

Local people may have their hands full.

Become a part of the Local networks, form congregations of record, establish your FEMA, your own Faith Emergency Ministry Auxiliaries like the early Church. All you have to do is to love your neighbor as yourself.

All Congregations of record took part in this union and discipline and were called a viable republic in the heart of the Roman Empire by historians like Edward Gibbons who wrote The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Join the Living Network
