Decree
- Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree[1] from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
- Acts 16:4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees[1] for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
- Acts 17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees[1] of Caesar, saying that there is another king, [one] Jesus.
We see the word decree in Corinthians but it is from the Greek word Krino.[2]
- 1 Corinthians 7:37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed[2] in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
The word means separate but is translated many different ways such as -judge 88, determine 7, condemn 5, go to law 2...
