What is a Sponsored Elder
What Is A Sponsored Elder?
By His Church at Loess Hills
The term, sponsored Elder is a term that has a couple of different definitions, which are merely due to the different way the Elder was “sponsored”.
Purpose. The purpose of a sponsored Elder is for an individual that is not content with just being a new subscriber on an email group after having read the published purpose and guidelines of the HHC networking Google groups, but does not know any of the other subscribers, or know enough about the Living Network of Congregations of Record and His Churches to make an informed decision about what they are led to do next. So the sponsored Elder status is a way for folks that are seeking to do more, but as a “guest”, a “student”, an “observer” until they get to know more people and start to understand what the Living Network is and what it does to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Definitions.
SPONSORED ELDER. A sponsored Elder is an invited regular guest in a free assembly gathering of Recorded or Declared Elders who have recognized the same Minister of Record (MoR) by entrusting their offerings to Christ into his hands. A sponsored Elder may be an HHC Google group subscriber that has decided to elect an electronic Personal Contact Minister (PCM), and the elected PCM is a Declared Elder. The sponsored Elder is now free to ask to be a regular guest, observer, or “student” who is learning more about Congregations of Recorded Elders (CoRE) and His Church kingdom government offices of service and trust, what they do, and don’t do, to be the government of the people, for the people and by the people according to the perfect law of liberty networked together in a Living Network of Congregations of Recorded Elders and His Church offices of service and trust for the people.
The Declared Elder “sponsors” the individual that elected the Declared Elder as their PCM by introducing the sponsored elder to the other Declared Elders and His Church minister of record. The sponsored Elders are now invited to participate when the CoRE and their Minister freely assemble or congregate to “treat of peace” (decide what they are doing to do the Will of the Christ according to His name or character). The sponsored Elder is like an observer. They are not Declared Elders. They are seeking to learn, and possibly investigate and observe the fruit of the Elders and the MoR to decide if they would like to declare their Sacred Trust with the Messiah and name the same His Church Sacred Trustee Minister to also be their elected kingdom government servant. The CoRE Elders and the His Church minister also encourage the sponsored Elder to reach out and make contact with other Congregations of Declared Elders and His Church ministers, so that the sponsored Elder gets a chance to meet and greet as many Living Network participants as possible before freely choosing to make their Sacred Declaration with the Messiah.
The same process can take place but the individual that becomes known as a sponsored Elder with a CoRE and His Church is not required to be an HHC Google Group subscriber. Maybe the sponsored Elder is a friend or acquaintance of the Declared Elder, and the Declared Elder believes that their friend or acquaintance is seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness so the Declared Elder asks their friend if the friend would like to be sponsored.
DECLARED ELDER. A “Declared or Recorded Elder” is an individual who represents a natural family or is a single individual, who freely chooses to Declare his/her Sacred Purpose with the Messiah. The Sacred Purpose establishes a Sacred Trust. The Declared Elder is the Grantor/Settlor of the Sacred Trust. The initial Freewill Offering or Burnt Sacrifice establishes the corpus of the Trust, and who the Grantor freely gives the offering to, i.e. convey the legal title to to be used for Christ’s purposes, represents the election of the trustee. The Declared Elder’s subsequent burnt offerings is the re-affirmation or re-election of the individual as minister. We call this giving the minister a covering, weaving his breeches, granting him a license/permission to serve as the minister for this Elder and his family.
The Beneficiary of the Sacred Trust is Jesus the Christ, the King of kings. The Trustee does not have to accept the offering. But if he is led in the spirit to accept the duties and obligations of trustee by taking possession of the offering, then legal title of the offering is transferred to the Minister and the equitable title transferred to Jesus the Christ it is this transfer of ownership that completes the Trust, and is an act of “election” or “choosing” by the Elder that “licenses” the trustee to be the Minister for that Elder, which is an office of trust called “His Church at …..”, a.k.a. the Minister of Trust, a.k.a. the Minister of Record [MoR].
The Declared Elder then freely chooses to assemble, or congregate, with the other Declared Elders who have been led to choose, elect, or “call out” the same individual to serve all of them as their “local” His Church office of Sacred Trust or Minister of Record. For example: His Church at Loess Hills [HCLH] = Scott Hostetter, Minister of Record; those two terms are synonyms because HCLH is a government office of service and trust created by the free will giving of the Elders. His Church is not the Congregation of Declared/Recorded Elders [CoRE]. And the CoRE is not a corporate "it", a body politic or corporation, the CoRE is a free will assembly of Declared Elders who all independently chose the same individual to administer their Sacred Trust with the Messiah.
How it works.
With all sponsored Elders, when the Declared Elder seeks to first introduce the sponsored Elder to the CoRE of Declared Elders all the Declared Elders need to be in one accord about allowing the Declared Elder’s friend, or PCM elector, into the CoRE as a sponsored Elder. What this usually entails is a mere initial meeting or conference call with all the Declared Elders and the sponsored Elder to meet and greet and talk in order to start to get to know each other better. It is simply an introduction so that all the Elders feel comfortable and no one feels pressured. Remember there is NO membership in a CoRE, the CoRE is not a corporate "it", each Elder has to freely choose to assemble or gather in congregation. Just like each Elder has to make the freewill choice to give to Christ, what to give, when to give, how much to give, etc. to the Christ, entrusted to the minister for the minister to use for Christ’s purposes. This separation between the Elders and His Church, and the separation between each Elder and the other Elders is a critical fundamental element to remember when dealing with the weightier matter of freedom in Christ. There are no binding agreements, the only corporate body is the body of the natural family or adoptive families.
So the Declaration of Sacred Purpose does not create any type of binding agreement, contract, covenant or constitution between the Elder and the other Elders or the His Church. Everyone still maintains their God given Higher Liberty of free will choice. The people are individually free to give, free to congregate, free not to congregate, free not to give, free to make their own free will choices.
The CoRE and His Church office is also free to gather and not invite the sponsored Elder. There may be some rather sensitive matters that the regular guests (sponsored elders), or any guest for that matter, should not be involved in. A CoRE and His Church seek to serve others in the name of Christ, but not when matters of pastoral confidence take precedence, and it is up the His Church Minister and the Declared Elders to determine matters of pastoral confidence.
The sponsorship is not an indefinite and unlimited sponsorship. At some point the sponsored Elder will be asked to make a choice to declare their Sacred Purpose with the Messiah and choose the same individual to be their Minister of Record like all the other Declared Elders did, or do so with a different Minister of Record and then freely choose to gather in congregation with the Declared Elders that were led to choose the same Minister of Record, or they will not be invited back as a regular guest. They may still request to gather with the CoRE as a special guest from time to time just like any one is free to do as an HHC Google group subscriber or a personal friend of any Declared Elder.
To begin participating more directly with a CoRE of Elders and their His Church minister fill out the information on this website: http://www.hisholychurch.org/network/contactform.php Then make contact with your PCM to let them know that you’re interested in being considered a “sponsored Elder”, a regular guest for Congregational conference calls to discuss Kingdom government business.
