The discussion would have been of more value had a true understanding of the pragmatic "meaning" and "intention" of the "religion" ancient scriptures as described by Moses. We covered what Moses taught in our own series on "Exodus". Unfortunately Bennett is ignorant of Moses' meaning and morality because he, like most of modern moralists, has unmoored the meaning of the metaphor that points to the "affordances" of the government of the people, for the people, and by the people that were captive and now were free.
