Talk:Vaccinated
The August 26, 2021, "Fact Check-Study did not find vaccinated healthcare workers carry 251 times the viral load of those who were unvaccinated"
States:
“Overwhelmingly, vaccinated people are showing protection against severe COVID-19 cases and hospitalisations,” said medical experts at Meedan Health Desk when presented with Montagnier’s claim. “This would likely not happen if ADE were occurring, because it is an acute and very serious condition that would cause significant medical alarm.”
This is proof that If you ask an infinite number of "medical experts" you will get some foolish answers.
Dr. Luc Montagnier does not deny that "vaccinated people are showing protection against severe COVID-19 cases and hospitalisations". The statement "likely not happen" is speculation and not science. At the point of injection some immunity may be given but how long does it last and what immunity are you getting?
If you read the study Comparing SARS-CoV-2 natural immunity to vaccine-induced immunity: reinfections versus breakthrough infections https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.24.21262415v1
"Conclusions: This study demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity. Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant."
In reading the actual studies you can see that the "gained additional protection" may include "symptomatic disease and hospitalization" which does not last as long as natural immunity. It is well established it does not prevent anyone from getting it, carrying it and infecting others. That is science supported by new studies day by day.

If you are talking about the "May" article by "Fact Check-There is no evidence to suggest COVID-19 vaccines will kill people by causing antibody- dependent enhancement, current evidence demonstrates the opposite" I already showed above current studies that rebuts their false conclusions. It is clear it is misleading because there was lots of evidence that ADE was known and likely when the vaccines first came out. We saw it in animal trials with the original attempts to produce mRNA injections. But what they say was vaguely true but obviously misleading back even in May. Because ADE takes a season or three virologists know what to look for and did. Reuters makes money when people pickup their stories so this fact check story shows the bias to sell the narrative. The studies were being made at that time and not yet published. The expected evidence was already being seen in the Oxford study.
