Upsidedown

On Acts 17:6 we read, "And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;"

The world had turned upside down a hundred years before. "In 509 B.C. Rome became a republic with permanent tyranny beginning in 31 B.C. under direction of the immortal Julius Caesar.

What changed that tyranny became the way of the world. What caused the people to degenerateand made the word of God to none effect?
