Who am I?

A man, father and grandfather.

Bond-servant and Ambassador of YHWH and His Kingdom.

In the World but not of it.

A sojourner and orphan, yet not Fatherless.

A believer, follower and disciple of the Messiah of Israel.

Student and pursuer of the truth of Torah, but not yet a Torah keeper.

Redeemed, covered by the sacrificial blood of Messiah, called out of the World and into Messiah.

A student of the Word of Elohim, The Creator. Having but One Teacher, but many tutors.

An encourager, edifier and exhorter of the Body of Messiah and those seeking His Kingdom.

Abhorring the religious pretense of man, preferring the solace of but a few true disciples.

Purposely poor, yet making no vow.

A Levite having no estate on earth, no inheritance. Having forsaken my earthly family in 1985, my own abandoning me in 1996.

Afflicted and humbled, walking the Earth as a pilgrim seeking the Great City not built by human hands.

Ordained not of men, but of the Mighty One, through His Ruach, Set-Apart Spirit.

Commissioned as a 'missionary' to the Baja of Mexico in January 2005.

Sent out to find the Lost Sheep of Israel, proclaiming the Kingdom is near, living by faith in a YAH-sustained lifestyle.

Chosen to be a bond-servant before birth, a eunuch by choice.

An Essene at heart and lifestyle, poor in worldly wealth, yet rich with the Torah being written on my heart.

Appointed to good works, a worker of Righteousness, (i.e. Torah)

Ordained to eternal life, to bear fruit having dominion over creation (not mankind) and subduing the Earth.

Recipient of a greater inheritance.

Child of the King of Kings, follower of the Way (Torah) and obedient to His commandments, as I learn of them.

Citizen and participant of the Reign of YHWH. Not a citizen of this World.

Believing in autonomy balanced with accountability, not forcing others to believe or act as I do.

Wannabe friend.

Growing up

Born and raised in the South....(uhh…..Southern California)I was raised on a mini-ranch where we grew much of our own food. Chickens, goats, horses, bees, vegetable garden, fruit trees, etc. Raised in a big family, where dad and grandpa raised seven brothers and one sister. I call it the house of testosterone. There were three generations who helped get the work done and care for each other. Grandpa took care of the house after mom passed away in 1968, and we children had our own chores as well. There were goats to be milked, eggs to be gathered, weeds to be pulled and fruit to pick. Not to mention the dishes to be washed showers to be scrubbed and toilets to be cleaned. You didn't think gramps was going to do it all, did ya?

Formative years

Originally from from Orange County in Southern California, Garden Grove to be precise, but grew up there in the 60's and 70's when the orange and walnut groves were plentiful. After a few years serving in the Military Intelligence of the Army in 1985 I moved my small family to Placerville in Northern California foothills of the Sierras, when I began my journey of discipleship to the Messiah.

After 20 years (to the day) I departed Placerville and was assigned to serve several humanitarian aid projects in the Baja of Mexico, Arizona and New Mexico. Currently I am located in the Ozarks of South Central Missouri looking to establish Intentional Hebrew Communities where brothers and sisters can live as one family in peace, safety and prosperity according to Torah.

Work Experience

The oldest son of my dad, carrying his name, I was put in charge of my brothers on occasion and learned how to 'manage' people, property and possessions at an early age.

When I was only 16, a few decades ago, I managed a steakhouse near Disneyland and in my 20’s I managed a grocery store. My work history includes over 25 years as a landlord, so I am knowledgeable and interested in legal matters, fixing household items (but I'm no expert) and maintain in good, safe working order, all building facilities and appliances. During the 90's I was a self-employed business consultant, so I may be of some assistance in helping establish cottage industries. I've learned a few things over the years and offer whatever, whenever, and however I can help a brother in Messiah earn a living to provide for his family.

I have no plans on returning to 'employment' since I have the best job, working for the absolute best Master known to mankind! I live by faith, which means you go without some of the conveniences of Egypt and the benefits of Babylon. I think you know what that means, because you've read the stories of the children of Israel in the wilderness. I don’t complain about my lifestyle, but rather am very content. Father provides for me in miraculous ways. I am indeed in awe of His provision.

Spiritual Journey

I was born into a Roman Catholic family and was taught to believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. I remember quite clearly one night as I was asleep in the back seat of the car when I awoke to laughter. One of my moms friends asked her, "So, when are you going to tell the children there is no Santa?" I was outraged and got in my mothers face (as she was driving in a snowstorm at night on a windy mountain road) and yelled at her, “You LIED to us? We get in trouble when we lie! There isn't a Santa Claus?” Sit back down she told me and proceeded to explain the situation. She didn't want me to tell the other children, roping me into her conspiracy.

Later, I realized that she had also taught me about Jesus, the manger and the virgin birth. Maybe that was a fairy tale too? I was only 7 years old at the time and a few weeks later she died giving birth to her seventh child. For the next few years I didn't believe in anything.

When I was 16 I prayed the sinners prayer, more than anything as fire insurance. But I thought that is what you do to become a 'Christian'. For the next few years I went to church when I wanted to and listened to sermons on the radio and Television.

But in 1984 I had a huge paradigm shift. I became a disciple of the Messiah, leaving my fathers house and moving my family 500 miles north to Placerville California.

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues” Revelation 18:4

We have been called out of the Babylonian system, not due to fear, but out of obedience. I see that we as a people must build a Torah based Hebrew communities all throughout the land as places of refuge where we can learn and grow into all that Father has for us. I do not believe that hiding away in a secluded spot so no one will find us is the purpose for these communities, but rather a place to come to develop a Hebraic mindset, be refreshed and knitted together as one, as He is One.

Service to the Kingdom

Most of my friends and associates in the past have called me a 'missionary', but since I do not find this title in scripture I do not refer to myself as such. Rather, I consider myself to be a servant and disciple of the Messiah of Israel. I've been involved in a ministry to the poor, the widow and the fatherless for decades. While I was in Arizona for six years we distributed thousands of meals per week, passed out several tons of food, shoes, clothing, toiletries, medical supplies, furniture, and whatever else Father gave to us to pass to other ministries we serve, such as orphanages, rehabilitation centers, elderly care facilities, feeding programs, in the U.S. and across the border in Mexico.

I have lived in the desert in 110 degrees in a metal box called a travel trailer, without running water or electricity. Not for long, mind you. If you are not willing to give up this Worlds ways, and the conveniences of Babylon, then you are not going to mature as a disciple. Not to say I wish to live without electricity, or heat in the winter. But you need to be willing to live on less than most Americans are used to. I believe we must be willing to sacrifice our comforts.

Hope for the Future

After a decade of traveling around Mexico and the Southwest, and now the jungles of the Ozarks, I hope to live on a ranch or farm, preferably with a group of like minded believers where we can grow our own food, produce our own power and live in peace. I am interested in organic and natural foods and leading a more self-sustainable lifestyle. My motivation is not from fear or the desire of isolation, but rather as I read, study and learn the Torah I see this is the way of our Father. He put Adam in the garden and when The King returns I believe He will bring us back to an agricultural lifestyle. I am into a Yah-sufficient lifestyle, where we can produce everything we need from our own labor. Our Heavenly Father has given us everything we need to live on, just look at the birds of the air....

I am willing to help build community in any way that I can. I am able to clean toilets, take out the trash, wash windows, or dishes, cook meals, oversee specific projects, hoe garden weeds, pick fruit, do laundry or build an fuel-alcohol still or or develop a fish farm and hope and expect to do all the above.

The Living Network

"The Kingdom of YHWH is like a net that was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind. When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad." Matthew 13

Years ago while on a walk in the forest, Father showed me a net stretched across the sky and spoke these words to me. “The Kingdom is like unto a net….” I saw faces where the knots were. We are all connected to each other in His kingdom. He does not fish with a line and a single hook. He fishes with a net!

If you would like to connect with other believers, disciples and servants of the Most High who are not Nicolaitan over-lording types, but rather treat others with autonomously, the right to believe what you will and govern your own actions without someone telling you. If you would like to meet a network of like-minded folks go to: thelivingnetwork.org

Making Disciples

Messiah’s last words on Earth, or rather as he was ascending, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Ruach HaQuodesh, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

Make disciples. That's my primary function. Everything that I do is based on that commandment.

I hope and pray that this has given you a bird-eye view of my hopes, goals and vision. If you have any questions, just ask.

Looking forward to getting to know you.
