The word Kana`aniy can mean “descendant or inhabitant of Canaan”, but more specifically it means “a merchant, trader, or trafficker”. Were they called “traders” in Hebrew because they were good business men or was there another aspect to their character and methods that made them so detestable to Israel? | |||
