The Remnant

There are numerous different words translated "remnant" in the Bible. The most common is the complex Hebrew word shë’eriyth [sheh-ay-reeth’] ShinAlefReishYodTav[1] from ShinAlefReish.[2]

We find the term mostly in Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Micah. Other words translated remnant include cerach[3] and yathar.[4]

Often the remnant means the people who have remained faithful to The Way of Christ and God. You will know them by the fruits of their doings.
