Fluoride is murder to the thyroid. (Parathyroid, close enough.) The symptoms of thyroid disease and fluoride poisoning correspond nearly perfectly.[1]
Whenever someone contacts me about thyroid issues, I tell them it's ridiculous to try to do anything about it until they switch their toothpaste...
[2]
Thyroid uses about 80% of the iodine in the body. On a periodical table, iodine, fluoride, and chlorine are in the same column...they have the same molecular weight and the body can easily substitute them. When receptor sites aren't already filled with iodine, the thyroid will pick up all the fluoride floating around in the system from daily self-administered fluoride poisonings.
Relating back to the medications: So many of them are based on fluoride/fluorine. For example, the scientific name for Prozac is fluoxetine. [3]
Also, if her receptor sites aren't already filled with good iodine, she may be picking up the radioactive stuff from Fukushima.
All adds up to a perfect storm...for someone plugged into the mainstream (public) medical system rather than taking responsibility for themselves.
