Not so Secure Socialism

The United States Supreme Court in 1937 validated Social Security as an exercise of the Constitutional taxing power of Congress for the benefit of the general fund of the United States Treasury. The Supreme Court also said that “Congress could, in its future discretion, spend that money for whatever Congress then judged to be the general welfare of the country” having “no constitutional power to earmark or segregate certain kinds of tax proceeds for certain purposes, whether the purposes be farm-price supports, foreign aid or social security payments.”[1]

“Protection draws to it subjection; subjection protection.”[2]

At the time of the introduction of the Social Security Act to Congress and the American people “The President wanted everybody covered for every contingency in life---’cradle to the grave,’ he called it... the social insurance[3] system… But the Government of the United States is not an insurance company and so it could be done.”[4]

While the system of Federal Social Security was “sold as if it were insurance”[3] it was not. There is a great deception, a strong delusion, that social security taxes are payments of insurance premiums to obtain specified benefits at a specified time. There is no such right.

According to the Social Security Tax Act the government has been under no contractual obligation to make any return payment from the very beginning and has carried the provision that, “The right to alter, amend, or repeal any provision of this act is hereby reserved to the Congress.”[5] Therefore “Congress could continue to collect the so-called social security pay roll taxes even though Congress discontinued all social security benefit payments.”[6]

This may seem a little scary for some who are or may be dependent upon such payments but that is exactly what you should expect as the national and world economies continue their descent into a domain of devastating decline, debt and disaster. An essential purpose of the system of corvee introduced as social security was to add the labor of Americans to the collateral of the State so the people would become a surety of the already increasing debt financing the power of that central government. To believe that you have a right to get back specified benefits because you paid into Social Security is a foolhardy fallacy, if not a delusion of false hope.

According to Dr. Clarence E. Manion, the Supreme Court held that Congress can “tax payments and earnings of employers and employees in the same way that it can tax a bottle of whiskey or a ticket to the ball game.”[7]

Comments
Some believe that Social Security is a government-run public insurance program.

Some called it "social insurance"[3] "But the Government of the United States is not an insurance company...”[4] So what is it?

Some say it is a Ponzi Scheme[8].
*: The idea that Social Security is a pay-now for current beneficiaries system by the redistribution of wealth from the current generation of workers to the current generation of retirees does not pan out with the facts. Since it actually only pays for the interest on government loans it is actually making beneficiaries and their children a surety for debt.
Social Security does not fit the scenario of a true Ponzi scheme. It is actually much worse since it does not require an increase of participants to make a payment but borrows money from the next generation.
Social Security is a contract between generations, binding together the interests of both young and old in a system that is centralizing power to redistribute wealth and makes each generation a surety for the debt of its predecessors.
No one is borrowings from a social security fund and leaving IOUs because there is no division of the funds from the beginning. The purpose of the scheme was no the same as Charles Ponzi but was offering the people the chance of becoming a surety for the debt of the United States so that it could borrow more money from the Federal Reserve which had tightened the money supply in the 1920's as the US ran out of collateral.
Bernard Weisberger writing for people like Bill Moyer arguing against the claim that Social Security imagines that it is "It’s beyond outrage" to compare Social Security to Charles Ponzi's criminal enterprise since, Social Security has "for more than two generations ... allowed seniors to live their post-working lives with a modicum of dignity and security... "
That statement suggests that Seniors did not live their lives "with a modicum of dignity and security" prior to the Social Security Act, which is simply not true.
What was the alternative?
'Seniors could have lived their post-working lives with a modicum of dignity and security... " had they practiced Pure Religion and raised their families in the traditions of the early Church without pursuing the covetous practices of Social Security schemes which make the word of God to none effect and cause children to do no more ought for their parents as Christ said.
The liturgy of the early Church actually made a difference in how people lived and their practices of Pure Religion.
If the definition of Religion has changed over the years has the definition of worship also changed?
Understanding the meaning of liturgy and the difference between of Public religion and private welfare explains the Christian conflict.
People curse the next generation in these covetous practices while making themselves merchandise because they covet benefits not yet paid for when no one is practicing Pure Religion. There are more comments on the discussion page.
Questions
* What is Ponzi Scheme?
* What is Public religion?
* What was Christian conflict with Rome?
* Who are the Nicolaitans?
* What were the altars of Abraham, Moses an how do they relate to Lively stones of Christ?
* So were do the Nimrod's of the world fit in to this idea of liturgy of the early Church? Where do we fit into the liturgy of Christ ans the early Church?
** === Many Nimrods ===

The Nimrod's and Cain's of the world come about because we love our neighbor less than we love ourselves.

Small acts of charity may make us look like nice people but the command is to love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves. That word love is also the same word for charity.

We claim to love one another in the comfort of our churches while modern pastors and priests often tickle our ears with the doctrines of men but in the covetous practices of the world we have become a part of we are biting one another through men who exercise authority.[9]

According to Christ the Corban of the Pharisees which was the sacrifice of the pharisees was making the word of God to none effect. That is and abomination. The daily sacrifice they should have been making was the Corban of Christ.

Two litugies

The liturgy of the world, the flesh and the devil is not according to the doctrine of Jesus but the doctrines of men and the Corban of the world which is a snare.

The liturgy of Christ is expressed in the culture of Christ according to the daily ministration of the Corban of Christ.

Jesus as theChrist wanted us to repent.[10]

Seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness is not seeking a comfortable modern church or home church that has the right rituals and music or comfortable pews or right calendar or imagined Hebrew roots and festivals.

It is seeking and edifying with a daily sacrifice or daily ministration of fervent charity rightly dividing a daily bread from house to house in a network supported by freewill offerings unspotted by the public religion and legal charity of the world of Nimrod, Pharaoh, Caesar, Herod, nor FDR and his not so New Deal.

The Corban of Christ where the people provide for all the people in hope and faith through charity rather than a socialist society is Pure Religion. Those who institute the rule of force with an appetite for benefits will become accustomed to living at the expense of others and depending for their livelihood on the property of others will become perfect savages with seared consciences. They will seek a "master and monarch" to fight their battles or drain the swamp of their own corruption.

John the Baptist said make straight the way of the Lord but the Modern Church has become promoters of the abomination of desolation which is the socialist state.

A man and his naturally endowed right to his labor was not originally the same as a bottle of whiskey nor a ball of twine. The idea of people laboring for a portion of each day without pay for the government is as old as the pyramids. It is known by many names such as statutory labor, Corvee,[11] or tribute[12] and is nothing more than a form of subjection and servitude Used by rulers to gain power from Cain to Nimrod and Pharaohs to Constantine.

Corvee
Corvee

Corvee’ is a French word which can mean “Gratuitous labor exacted from villages or communities, especially for repairing roads, constructing bridges, etc.”[13] In Latin it would be covata from corrogare meaning “to gather by request”. Webster says it is an “obligation on the inhabitants of a district to perform services” or “forced labor exacted by government”.

To take a man’s labor without consent[14] falls within a broad definition of slavery.[15]

Neither the President nor the congress had the power to compel a free people to begin to labor without pay. They could not force the entire population into becoming tax collectors and serfs, or taskmasters and statute laborers without some form of consent.[16]

Like all these systems that begin as a “request” they end up a “forced obligation” with some form of consent. The Romans had a Corvee system in their protected provinces and eventually throughout the empire to maintain public works. The Jews often opposed this because it was like the system of bondage in Egypt which God told the people never to return to in the Biblical instructions for writing a constitution.[17]

Some of the citizens of Judea had appealed to the Roman Commander in chief, Pompey for their protection. Not all Jews practiced the same religion. The Pharisees brought in their own system of social welfare under the guise of religious obligations. There had been some exclusion of Jews from individual tribute because of the Roman respect of religious freedom recognized in their law.

Pure republics have always cared for the social welfare of its inhabitants through freewill offerings, but when the people neglect their responsibility in a free society they often decline into states of socialism that begin with promises of benevolent benefaction and end in decadence, decay, and despotism. Managing social welfare by exercising authority over the people has often been a part of governments from Babylon to Rome and they all failed or betrayed their public members. No matter what promises are made by a government at its beginning the deals are often altered before their demise.

All governments expand their power or influence over the people in schemes with offers of gifts, gratuities, and benefits,[18] which gives government an increase in authority and compels a corresponding decrease in the individual’s right to choose. What they will contribute, to whom and for what purpose becomes the province of the government, and the “Will of the People” is imposed upon the people by the benefactors chosen for the people.

Herod the Great had a grand scheme of a vast membership in a social welfare scheme called Corban.[19] You joined with a ceremony of ritual baptism after filing an application for membership with the administering “scribe”.[20] Payment of prescribed fees was required and annual accounting of what you paid or did not pay was made available to the proper authorities.

With annual contributions collected and recorded by the scribes this system of individual sacrifice to support the needy of society became popular with many people who were jealous and envious of the rich or just covetous of their neighbor’s goods. With guaranteed entitlements and forced contributions the apathy and avarice of the people flourished.

Members were given a marked white stone as a form of national ID[21] and Herod was able to expand his hope of a kingdom of God on earth by this religious system of social security (Corban) which provided for a statutory enforcement and collection from membership in the form of a tax.

The actual carved stone used in the aqueduct that brought water into Jerusalem. Using social security funds for this government project enraged the people to riot.

Pilate "... used the sacred treasure of the temple, called corban (qorban), to pay for bringing water into Jerusalem by an aqueduct. A crowd came together and clamored against him..."[22] Because those funds were for their individual social welfare and the people complained.

Few understood that what should have been for their welfare had brought them into bondage though they had been warned centuries before in the sacred text.[23] Paul and others repeated that warning for the First century Church.[24] But Modern Christians are oblivious because they hire pastors who tickle their ears with Christian fables.

Even Polybius had warned Rome more than a century earlier:

"The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence. The people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others... institute the rule of violence; [25] and now uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder,[26] until they degenerate again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch." [27]

Why do I say this social security system was religious?

Because:

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit[28] the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.” James 1:27

John the Baptist offered a similar plan of social welfare but without the use of force used to collect the contributions of his people.[29] His plan was based on freewill offerings like ancient Israel[30] when it was still a Republic.[31] Christ objected to the plan offered by Herod and the Pharisees[32] not only because it weakened the character of the people, and therefore society as a whole, but it also violated the precepts of God found in the Ten Commandments.

Jesus preached a system of social welfare that operated under the perfect law of liberty[33] by faith, hope and charity.[34] Christians stood fast in the liberty of Christ [35] and cared for each other through their own system of social welfare managed by the Church. [36] The Church in those days actually understood the Gospel of the Kingdom appointed by Christ and would never send their people to the men of government that called themselves benefactors but exercised authority one over the other in opposition to His specific instructions.[37]

The early Church called people to repentance of that system and a new baptism of John. This was not just some meaningless ritual. They would no longer covet their neighbor’s goods through the agency of Herod’s socialist government nor Rome’s free bread and extensive welfare state. They learned to care for one another in a network of love and service.[38]

Rome and Jerusalem would soon falter and fail under the weight of their own corruption. Christians hearing the fullness of the Gospel of the Kingdom preached by John and Christ formed a new society that would survive and prosper in true faith during that decline and fall of the Roman Empire.

Social security schemes in every country today are the antitheses of the Corban of Christ which make the word of God to none effect like the Corban of the Pharisees and identical to the unrighteous Mammon mentioned by Christ which will fail.[39] When it fails what will you do if you have not been seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness nor attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

"Follow me!" —Jesus the Christ.
