Taxation
A tax is defined as "a compulsory contribution to state revenue, levied by the government on workers' income and business profits or added to the cost of some goods, services, and transactions." As a verb it is defined "impose a tax on (someone or something)."
The word levy is from the old French lever "to lift"
A tax (from the Latin taxo) is a financial charge or other levy imposed upon a taxpayer (an individual or legal entity) by a state or the functional equivalent of a state to fund various public expenditures.
We are told that the primary purpose of taxes is to raise revenue to fund a government.
Not theft
Some desire to believe that taxation is theft simply because you are forced to pay it.
Is the power of a state or the functional equivalent of a state to tax limited or unlimited?
Where and how does a State get the lawful power to tax?
How does the State or its equivalent obtain a power to tax the people on their land?, On their labor, or on their commercial transactions?
While taxation could be just theft or extortion, it also could be just.
Tribute
Tribute is a tax mentioned in the Bible and has always been deemed a patrimonial right.
How does the patrimonial right of a natural father end up in the hands of the State?
The Bible says that the slothful should be under tribute.
So are people under tribute as a result of theft or a result of being slothful?
And then we can ask slothful in what?
Jesus said call no man on earth father. He certainly was talking about our natural father's who he tells us to honor
Was he talking about the state as your father?
If you have to work but you only get to keep part of the value of your labor because of taxation then you are just a human resource or literally merchandise. The Bible does not say you become merchandise because of theft but because of your covetous practices.
The Bible also says that through those same covetous practices you would curse children. Curse them with what? Debt. Every time a government raises the debt ceiling to provide you with benefits you increase the debt burden on the future of your children. So, again your children will be cursed with a heavy tax burden, not because of theft but because of your covetous practices.
If Churches operated like the early Church and instead of constructing buildings and entertaining parishioners they could take care of the widows and orphans and other needy of society through faith, hope and charity. That would be righteous. In fact when the Church cared for the needy of society without praying to the governments of the world to exercise authority over their neighbor it was called Pure Religion. That was the Gospel of the kingdom and the righteousness of God. So it is being slothful in the pursuit of the kingdom of God and His righteousness that has caused us to be taxed.
Tax the rich
People think if we tax the rich then it would be better. The problem is not a lack of taxes but overspending and covetousness.
The people need to end all welfare through the state.
The more you want to take from others the more will be taken from you.
The attempts to tax the rich by jealous, envious, and covetous people will only make lawyers, accountants, and politicians richer.
The people will get poorer and weaker as a community while tyrants will rule the world.
We have known how it works for thousands of years.
- "The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence. The people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others... institute the rule of violence; and now uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder, until they degenerate again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch." Polybius 150 tear before John the Baptist and Jesus preached the solution.

If taxation is theft the right to tax became justified when "The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence. The people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others... institute the rule of violence..." Polybius 200 Before Christ.
Back to Egypt
The 20% tax in Egypt came about because the people had not prepared for the Famine. The rich man known as the Pharaoh stored grain and all of Egypt except the priest went under a tax because they did not have enough food and needed to apply to Pharaoh. His condition in order to obtain his benefits was they had to waive a right to a portion of their labor.
Everyone literally became the Employees of the Pharaoh when they sold themselves into bondage to get his benefits.
Taxation is also the result of covetousness of you or your parents or both. The bondage of Egypt is a good example of such generational bondage. Jealousy and envy may tempt people to bite one another in covetous practices like socialism.
Taxation is justice
Taxation is justice when you have not been just.
What does it mean to not be just? It means that you either have been covetous of your neighbors goods through benefactors who exercise authority and the fathers of the earth or you have been slothful in attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.
The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.
The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.
The modern Christians are in need of repentance.
"Follow me!" —Jesus the Christ.
- One of the most important things to do is to become involved in a network of Charitable Practices. Everyone should want to join a Living Network of Love and Charity.
- If you think you have a calling to be a Minister of God or you might want to dedicate your life to Christ as an Ordained Minister of His Holy Church, contact us to start the process of discipleship and become the benefactors who exercise only love, NOT authority.[2]
What is and where does the power to tax come from?
Taxes are sometimes referred to as "direct taxes" or "indirect taxes". The meaning of these terms can vary. An economic definition states that "... direct taxes may be adjusted to the individual characteristics of the taxpayer, whereas indirect taxes are levied on transactions irrespective of the circumstances of buyer or seller."
For example, income tax is "direct", and sales tax is "indirect" according to some opinions but may have different meanings in law. In U.S. constitutional law, for instance, direct taxes refer to poll taxes and property taxes, which are based on simple existence or ownership. Indirect taxes are imposed on events, rights, privileges, and activities. Thus, a tax on the sale of property would be considered an indirect tax, whereas the tax on simply owning the property itself would be a direct tax.
The problem is that Legal title does not include the ownership.
Employment is about slavery.
Going to Public schools at the expense of your neighbor set you up to be fooled. They did not teach you about Plutarch and Polybius warnings to say nothing of John the Baptist.
Some Questions
- What was the bondage of Egypt, and why were we to never go back there again?
- Have people given consent to a social compact that might enslave them, like in the days of Egypt?
- Why would the slothful be under tribute?
- Why did the Corban of the Pharisees make the word of God to none effect?
- Why did Jesus say "Call no man Father upon the earth"?
- Why did Jesus say not to be like the rulers who called themselves Benefactors?
- Why did Peter say covetous practices would make us Merchandise and curse children?
- What did Jesus list off as the Weightier matters?
- Why did Jesus command that the people sit down in Tens?
- What is Religion and what is Pure Religion?
- What was Public religion and the imperial Cult of Rome? How did it differ from Pure Religion practiced by early Christians?
- Why did the Church have a Daily ministration?
- How do the Modern Christians differ from the early Church who followed The Way of Christ?
- What were the deeds of the Nicolaitans, and why did God hate those deeds?
- What was the Christian conflict with Rome?
- Are modern Christians actually workers of iniquity?
- Do people today make covenants with the gods of this world because they love the wages of unrighteousness?
- What is the difference between the Baptism of John the Baptist and the Baptism of Herod or Constantine or Rabbinical Baptism?
- Israel was not to have a golden calf but what did that mean?
- What were the altars of earth and stone?
- What are lively stones?
- Was the Sabbath a way or a day?
More Questions
- Were those rituals of ancient societies merely mindless acts of superstition, or were they metaphors?
- What are the rituals of the Church, and do they point to The Way of Christ and God?
- Could Welfare systems of the world be Snares and Traps?
- And what does this all have to do with Nimrod, Cain and Caesar who called themselves Benefactors but exercise authority one over the other?
- What was the Mark of Cain and the Mark of God and even the Mark of the Beast?
- Did Constantine start a different Church not of Christ?
- Why did the people have to sew Breeches for the Levites?
- What was early Israel like before the Voice of the people rejected God?
- Why were they organized by Tens?
- How was the Early Church funded, and what did they use the funds for?
- Did it operate by force or Freewill offerings?
- Do all governments of the world operate according to the ways of God?
- Or do they operate according to the ways of Cain and Nimrod?
- Who were the Nicolaitans, and what did they do that included the error of Balaam, and why does God hate their deeds?
- What was Christ trying to tell us about the Fathers of the earth and who are they?
- And who is The Beloved Anarchist?
- What do you want to do about all this?
To find the answers, we must seek and strive to do what Jesus said the way He said to do it... Including attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.
