Estaban nombrando hombres para recaudar fondos del pueblo para que pudieran cuidar el bienestar de los necesitados de sus congregaciones, incluyendo viudas y huérfanos en esa cosa que Jaime llamaba religión pura sin ninguna ayuda del mundo.

We must be willing to ask not only hard questions but the right questions to get to the core of our false perception of religion. Tackling the ''sacred cows'' of deeply held religion will require the relentless use of the biggest ''truth hammer'' you can find.

But still people themselves will either cling to what they have imagined to be true, crucify and demonize the messenger or allow their eyes to be opened in humble recognition that we may have it all wrong. Recognizing our own error and being willing to turn around and take steps to alter the course of our lives in at least simple ways based on humility, love and forgiveness.

We must be willing to look deep into the subject and ourselves. We must be willing to see the truth about ourselves before we will see the truth about the religions of society and in history.

== We begin undoing the Lie==

A humble and courageous look at the [[Sophistry]] of modern and even ancient language is essential to discovering the truth.

The first question might be ''what do we mean when we say [[Religion]], or [[Pure Religion‎]].'' One might think there are hundreds of different religions in the [[World|world]] today and if you depend on superficial appearance and form as your criteria certainly you can make an assumption for that conclusion.

If you focus on the purpose and means of obtaining those religious goals there are only two types of religion.

Certainly there is something we may call [[False religion]] but that is opinion driven. There is also [[Public religion]] but what do we mean when we say or think [[Our Religion]]?

From an unbiased detailed study of the history of religion there is clear evidence that that at least one type or teaching concerning religion is regularly highjacked by the other type. One of the most common tools used to do this is to change the definition of religion so as to umoor the purpose from what we may call the purpose or defining characteristic or character of a religious idea and practice.

In the Old Testament there were at least two types of altars mentioned as metaphors describing the structure of their society.

Each member or family of a free assembly of the people is an ''altar of earth''. The term altar of earth is called an altar of ''adamah''. ''Adamah'' is not dirt but is ''man'' and all the sons of Adam. ''Altar of earth'' are simply living groups of men and not dead piles of dirt.

The same is true of "altars of stone". A gathering of stones or an altar of stone was simply a ''gathering of friends''. These altars of earth and stone were meant to be systems of social welfare that operated through voluntary means and mutual love through charity.

The congregations of ministers are altars of stone. Both earth and stone altars were symbols for a way to operate together in a [[Network]] of [[charity]] and [[Freewill offerings]] so that a nation of believers might remain a peculiar and free people.

All the symbols attached to them and the symbols surrounding them make for an opportunity to hijack the purpose of caring for one another by love and turn it into a system of mind control through a promise of justification, pride and delusion. The real purpose of the religion of God is that we actively spend our lives learning to be free souls who are bound together by natural love for one another alone.

== The Two Types of Altars ==

These terms are metaphors for a system by which men may remain free souls under God the Father in Heaven with no other gods before him.

Every man is an altar of earth. The Hebrew word for earth when talking about altars of earth is "adamah". We are all sons of Adam. Each man plays his part in the kingdom of God by being a conduit for the sacrifices of his family in the practice of "pure religion".

The Elder of each family chooses how his family is to serve his congregation and the whole community.

The stone altars are also men. The living ministers of the Church chosen by men, and ordained of God are the living altars of stone of the kingdom. They are titular leaders and benefactors who do not exercise authority over the contributing of the people but minister their offerings for the good of those they serve.

If you do not know what [[Pure Religion]] is or what they meant when they used that particular Greek word for [[World|world]] or why the [[Corban]] of the Pharisees and of Rome was making the word of God to no effect you might think this all too complicated. The truth is you have to know the terms and phrases of the Bible in the context of history to understand its simple meaning.

When people received the [[Baptism]] of Jesus they were eventually called [[Christians]]. Because religion or the ideas associated with religion have a deep and primal connection in our minds and therefor our emotions few people can face the challenge of exposing the sacred delusions of ancient or modern religion in any form. We must be willing to ask not only hard questions but the right questions to get to the core of our false perception of religion. Tackling the ''sacred cows'' of deeply held religion will require the relentless use of the biggest ''truth hammer'' you can find.

But still people themselves will either cling to what they have imagined to be true, crucify and demonize the messenger or allow their eyes to be opened in humble recognition that we may have it all wrong. Recognizing our own error and being willing to turn around and take steps to alter the course of our lives in at least simple ways based on humility, love and forgiveness.

We must be willing to look deep into the subject and ourselves. We must be willing to see the truth about ourselves before we will see the truth about the religions of society and in history.

== We begin undoing the Lie==

A humble and courageous look at the [[Sophistry]] of modern and even ancient language is essential to discovering the truth.

The first question might be ''what do we mean when we say [[Religion]], or [[Pure Religion‎]].'' One might think there are hundreds of different religions in the [[World|world]] today and if you depend on superficial appearance and form as your criteria certainly you can make an assumption for that conclusion.

If you focus on the purpose and means of obtaining those religious goals there are only two types of religion.

Certainly there is something we may call [[False religion]] but that is opinion driven. There is also [[Public religion]] but what do we mean when we say or think [[Our Religion]]?

From an unbiased detailed study of the history of religion there is clear evidence that that at least one type or teaching concerning religion is regularly highjacked by the other type. One of the most common tools used to do this is to change the definition of religion so as to umoor the purpose from what we may call the purpose or defining characteristic or character of a religious idea and practice.

In the Old Testament there were at least two types of altars mentioned as metaphors describing the structure of their society.

Each member or family of a free assembly of the people is an ''altar of earth''. The term altar of earth is called an altar of ''adamah''. ''Adamah'' is not dirt but is ''man'' and all the sons of Adam. ''Altar of earth'' are simply living groups of men and not dead piles of dirt.

The same is true of "altars of stone". A gathering of stones or an altar of stone was simply a ''gathering of friends''. These altars of earth and stone were meant to be systems of social welfare that operated through voluntary means and mutual love through charity.

The congregations of ministers are altars of stone. Both earth and stone altars were symbols for a way to operate together in a [[Network]] of [[charity]] and [[Freewill offerings]] so that a nation of believers might remain a peculiar and free people.

All the symbols attached to them and the symbols surrounding them make for an opportunity to hijack the purpose of caring for one another by love and turn it into a system of mind control through a promise of justification, pride and delusion. The real purpose of the religion of God is that we actively spend our lives learning to be free souls who are bound together by natural love for one another alone.

A congregation of record seeking other congregations and coming together in a network of people seeking the wholeness and holiness of a righteous government need to manifest that oneness with Christ and the Father both in Spirit and in truth so that may live in the world but not of it.

== The Two Types of Altars ==

In the [[Church]] there are two types of altars, stone and clay.

But in the [[World|world]] the division is different. Understanding that altars were used in systems of [[Corban]] and were a way to provide welfare for the people by the ''sacrifices'' of the people and at the same time that the definition of [[Religion|religion]] can be defined as how you ''fulfill your duty to your fellowman'' or as the Bible defines it how you care for the needy of your society ''unspotted by the [[World]]'' then it becomes easier to understand these terms produce two types of religious altars mentioned just as there are two [[Welfare_types]].

These terms are metaphors for a system by which men may remain free souls under God the Father in Heaven with no other gods before him.

Every man is an altar of earth. The Hebrew word for earth when talking about altars of earth is "adamah". We are all sons of Adam. Each man plays his part in the kingdom of God by being a conduit for the sacrifices of his family in the practice of "pure religion".

: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27

The Elder of each family chooses how his family is to serve his congregation and the whole community.

The stone altars are also men. The living ministers of the Church chosen by men, and ordained of God are the living altars of stone of the kingdom. They are titular leaders and benefactors who do not exercise authority over the contributing of the people but minister their offerings for the good of those they serve.

Some people think these ideas of Altars and [[Sacred Purpose Trust|Sacred Purpose Trusts]] are too complicated and they do not understand why we need a [[Network|network]]. They ask, "Can't we put some money in the collection plate and just love Jesus?"

But how do we love Jesus? What does it mean to love Jesus? <Ref> John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

They were appointing men to collect funds from the people so they could take care of the [[Welfare|welfare]] of the needy of their congregations including widows and orphans in that thing James called [[Pure Religion]] without any assistance from the [[World|world]].

If you do not know what [[Pure Religion]] is or what they meant when they used that particular Greek word for [[World|world]] or why the [[Corban]] of the Pharisees and of Rome was making the word of God to no effect you might think this all too complicated. The truth is you have to know the terms and phrases of the Bible in the context of history to understand its simple meaning.

When people received the [[Baptism]] of Jesus they were eventually called [[Christians]]. They were confessing that Jesus was their Christ, their king.<Ref>Acts 17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, [one] Jesus.</Ref> Because they made that profession of faith in Jesus as another king they were excluded from the other [[Welfare_types|type of welfare]] which had been instituted by Herod the Great and the Pharisees or from Rome that was available at the time.<Ref>John 9:22 These [words] spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.</Ref>

La religión se definió hace 200 años como “La práctica de la verdadera piedad, la cual consiste en el cumplimiento de todos los deberes hacia a Dios y hacia nuestros semejantes”.<Ref> Al mismo tiempo, pieda se definió como el deber de su padre y su madre y a través de ellos a los demás dentro de su comunidad.</Ref> La religión durante siglos consistió en la manera o el método por el cual un pueblo o comunidad se encarga de su necesitados y protege a los desvalidos.

Durante el tiempo de Cristo y la iglesia primitiva existía la religión pública que se ejecutó a través del gobierno y los templos de Roma. Este gobierno financió y construyo templos, como parte del Culto Imperial de Roma. Una de sus funciones era la distribución de alimentos y la atención gratuita para las personas necesitadas del imperio. Ya que los cristianos estaban en el mundo pero no eran del mundo, los christianos dependían de la ''Iglesia'' establecido por Jesús Cristo para su Asistencia Privada.

Las diferencias entre estos dos tipos de asistencia social fueron la razón del conflicto Cristiano. Mientras que los historiadores como Polibio y filósofos como Plutarco dejaban claro que cuando Roma abandonara la práctica del Bienestar Privado por el Bienestar Social, las personas perderían su libertad y la capacidad de ser un pueblo libre. Pablo y David dijeron: “Séales vuelta su mesa en lazo, y en red, y en tropezadero…”

Pedro advirtió cómo que tener el “corazón ejercitado en codicias” de la religión pública haría de la gente "mercancía" y maldecirían a sus hijos con deuda. Por supuesto, Jesús dijo a sus seguidores que no llamaran a nadie padre en la tierra, es decir, a no depender del bienestar público del estado o sus Benefactores.

Desde el principio Juan el Bautista y Jesús dijeron que viviéramos por fe, la esperanza, y la caridad; la cual Pablo llama "la ley perfecta de la libertad". Jesus dijo que la practica del bienestar publico de los judios, llamado el Corbán de los Fariseos, invalidaba la palabra de Dios. Corbán era una forma de religión pública que se ejecutaba como un programa socialista a través de los templos paganos del gobierno romano; fue el mismo error de los Nicolaítas y Balaam.

Por lo tanto servicio religioso fue la forma en que las personas proporcionan para los necesitados dentro de una sociedad o comunidad de acuerdo con las directivas del su Dios o dioses que ellos han elegido para sí mismos. <Ref>Jueces 10:14 Andad, y clamad á los dioses que os habéis elegido, que os libren en el tiempo de vuestra aflicción.</Ref>

Con el tiempo la religión se redefinió por los hombres para significar '' lo que se piensa en un ser supremo ''. <Ref>Religión "en la creencia y de culto de un poder controlador sobrehumano, especialmente un Dios o los dioses personal."</Ref>

Entonces, ¿cuál es la definición correcta? La palabra religión es mencionado cinco veces en la Biblia. Sólo una vez que se menciona en un sentido positivo y nos encontramos con que en Santiago 1: 27.

La religión es claramente cómo cuidar de los necesitados de la sociedad, pero ¿qué significa ser "sin mancha del mundo"?

¿Cuál es Corbán?

¿Quien son los Nicolaítas?

¿Es el bienestar de la gente de tu sociedad proporcionadas por la fuerza o por la Caridad?

El Corbán de los cristianos modernos es su sistema de socialismo no tan seguro que se encuentra en todas las naciones del mundo que se ejecuta a través de los templos de sus gobiernos modernos por los hombres que se llaman a sí mismos benefactores que requieren de todo el mundo para obtener un número si quieren hacer una vida o incluso vivir en el mundo. Cristiano conflicto ha regresado y como la gente del mundo tienes que unirse a la religión pública de, o esperar persecución de parte, el fariseo moderna que ha seguido el camino de Babilonia y Nimrod.

La iglesia moderna no tiene ninguna distribución diaria real y sus prácticas de caridad son un mero símbolo, que es en gran medida '' manchado '' por su dependencia frente al mundo. ¿Puede el predicador moderno decir honestamente que predica la '' religión pura '' de Cristo y la iglesia primitiva cuando predica el Corbán moderna del mundo está bien que todavía está invalidando la palabra de Dios.

== ¿Donde es su religión? ==

¿Donde en su vida se encuentra el distribución diaria de su Iglesia, la religión pura de Santiago y el Corbán de Jesús, la Santísima Estrategia de Cristo y los cristianos verdaderos siguiendo el Camino a través del Amor de unos a otros?

¿Buscarás los beneficios de las naciones en quiebra o no perdonas a y buscarás los beneficios de Cristo designó Unido? ¿Te congregas sólo porque hacerlo beneficios que usted o usted congregas para beneficiar a otros? Cristo vino a servir, no ser servido. ¿Vas a venir en Su nombre y de acuerdo a Su carácter? Si deseamos Su Gracia, pero sólo amamos a los que nos aman, entonces no hay gracia, porque está claro que en realidad no creen en Él.

Si no nos arrepentimos de nuestras prácticas codiciosas y no estamos reuniendo con diligencia juntos en Asambleas Libres de del Amor para todos para proporcionar unos por otros en la caridad de acuerdo a la ley perfecta de la libertad entonces no tenemos ''nada'' de acuerdo con Pablo. Y de acuerdo con Lucas 6:32, si sólo amamos a los que nos aman no hay “gracia”. Y de acuerdo a Cristo si no perdonas á los hombres sus ofensas, tampoco vuestro Padre os perdonará vuestras ofensas.

No es suficiente para odiar los hechos de los que hacen iniquidad, pero hay que volver a tu primer amor y tu primer trabajo. Para romper el yugo que necesitamos para volver a los caminos de la justicia que se habla en Isaías 58, que son los caminos de Cristo y la Iglesia primitiva. Su yugo es luz para que se lleve por nuestro amor de unos a otros.

Abraham, Moisés, Juan el Bautista y Cristo todas crearon las redes de caridad para el cuidado de la verdadera necesitados de la sociedad sin fuerza, que es la forma en que fueron capaces de ayudar a las personas libres. ¿Acaso se recogen con su Iglesia para atender a los asuntos más importantes como dijo Cristo?

¿Reúnes en una red de justicia?

¿Cómo se llega a amar a los demás o simplemente para ser amado?

¿Son reuniones de sus congregaciones lo suficientemente fructífera para que nadie tenga que rezar a benefactores que ejercen la autoridad una sobre la otra?

¿Alguien en su Asambleas Libres tiene que aplicar a los Padres de la tierra, o buscan sus muchos beneficios?

Los primeros cristianos se encontraron en conflicto con estos sistemas de bienestar social porque hicieron que la palabra de Dios ''que no tenga efecto''. Cristianos habían arrepentido de su naturaleza codiciosa cuando recibieron el bautismo de Cristo. Se convirtieron en hacedores de la palabra.

Recuerda Proverbios 12:24 “La mano de los diligentes se enseñoreará: mas la negligencia será tributaria.”

Sabemos que la libertad bajo Dios no es para los codiciosos que están picando entre sí, sino que también no es para los perezosos. Si no se están congregando juntos en asambleas libres unidos en una red amplia por la fe, la esperanza y la caridad sola de acuerdo a la ley perfecta de la libertad entonces no estamos realmente buscar el Reino de Dios ni Su justicia.

== Depression ==

There are no studies that have proven that depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. Taking antidepressant drugs cannot not restore balance since there is no chemical imbalance to begin with.

Most prescriptions for antidepressants are written without any specific diagnosis by doctors. Antidepressants are among the most difficult drugs to get off of and by their nature create an [[Addiction]]. More difficult than alcohol and opiates. What is euphemistically called “discontinuation syndrome,” is really just chemical addiction withdrawal. That withdrawal can be fiercely debilitating physically and with severe psychological reactions. Antidepressants can cause violent side effects, including suicide and homicide. The truth is antidepressant can cause chemical imbalance in the brain.

The feeling of anxiety, phobias, OCD behavior or even panic disorders are seldom medical conditions and should not be treated with medication. They are emotional disorders which are the result of unresolved mental trauma. Medication actually can mask and prevent resolution while creating new problems.

Much of the feeling that medication is helping is the result of the placebo effect of taking the pills rather than the pills themselves. Some estimate that the placebo effect account for more than 80 percent of the positive effects. Dietary modifications can do the same and the side effects are actually beneficial to the over all health of the body itself.

Adding more healthy fats and less sugar, processed dairy, and excessive processed gluten. Taking some natural supplements like vitamin-B and probiotics or consuming them in certain foods can have a great balancing effect in the body and the [[mind]]. Reduction in exposure to toxins like fluoride or use of other drugs like Tylenol, statins, or even chemicals in cleaners.

Creating a routine of physical activity and modifying your approach to getting [[deep sleep]] along with [[Meditation]] can go along way to removing the symptoms of depression.

Ultimately you will need to deal with underlying emotional issues from the past that plague our present relationships and views. [[Forgiveness]] works but [[meditation]] and interaction with others can be a primary source of emotional progress.

We want to believe that medical science will fix us. The need to continue to believe that is an addiction in itself. It is an exercise of faith in something you think is greater than, smarter than, better than yourself.

While the medical establishment can help with many things your own body and mind is the key to good health. life is a journey and no one can take it for you but if you gather with others who care and love each other with no hope of personal gain the journey will certainly be more rewarding.

The best way to relieve the symptoms of depression is to start caring about others as much as yourself. Be willing to see the truth about yourself and the company of others who are walking the same journey with a destination to know the truth will set you free from your depression.

Meditation

There are benefits of "meditation and mindfulness" but there are also side effects. There are many approaches to meditation and there can be a need for help during these processes. The kind of help can vary even more than the kinds of meditations.

Meditation may help you see things in the present by dealing with things of the past and letting them go through a process of admission or personal confession and of course forgiveness. While meditation may bring you face to face with your mental baggage or even demons it may only bring you to a place of change but it does not make the choice for you.

Meditation is an exercise but also a lens. What it produces will depend on your willingness and ability to handle the truth.

<H3 CLASS="western">Meditation</H3>
The
word meditation, from the Latin word meditatio,
originally meant every
type of physical or intellectual exercise, and became to mean any
form of "contemplation."
Meditation
is often considered to be a spiritual activity, but in fact it is
fundamentally a mental activity or exercise that has many physical
effects. It also has many forms and can have a variety of purposes
and outcomes depending on both form and intent.
 

What we are
thinking may produce multiple physiological and biochemical reactions
in the body that will in turn effect our thinking and emotional
state. Observation of external events may produce neurotransmitters
in your brain like noradrenaline, serotonin, or dopamine which can
drastically affect both brain and bodily functions. Even rehearsing
or recalling these events in the mind may re-release these chemicals
which will affect the mind and the body. 

Experts
believe that many mental disorders are partly caused by an underlying
problem with specific brain circuits or activities and the balance of
these brain chemicals. 

Meditations
may produce a reduction in
the activities of the mind. This reduction in mental activity maybe
instrumental in producing a “decreased heart rate, decreased
respiration rate, decreased stress hormones like plasma cortisol. At
the same time there may be an increase in alpha brain waves
associated with relaxation. With a reduction of activity in the
nervous system and blood lactate levels the mind may become more
alert producing quicker reactions, more creativity and
greater comprehension. Meditation may produce these conditions four times
faster than in pre-meditation resting.<A CLASS="sdfootnoteanc" NAME="sdfootnote1anc" HREF="#sdfootnote1sym">1</A>
 

What
are the mechanics of meditation?
Every
religion used forms of meditation. 

All forms
of meditation are not created or practiced equally. Just as physical
exercise can do harm so can meditation. Good forms of meditation do
not guarantee that good will result anymore than exercising the body
will produce virtuous people. It is not the form that gives life but
the spirit.
According
to Zen and all Buddhist typology meditation practices are the same,
but their substance and purpose differ. While some use meditation for
mental and physical quietude others use it to transcend the mental
and physical state.
Altering
the “mental and physical state” of the individual is as
dependent upon technique as it is dependent upon the intent of the
individual. Knowledge of that true intent may be as illusive as the
“mental and physical state” the individual seeks.
The
ordinary Japanese and Chinese meditation of bonpu is practiced
for mental and physical well-being without any spiritual goal.
Outside of Buddhist purposes there are those purposes of Hindu,
Judaism, or Christian contemplation or even for the pursuit of
supernatural powers. 

There also
may be a practice of meditation for the purpose of self-liberation
from emotional bondage like phobias or syndromes, or even the release
from the grip of emotional and physical habits in the hope of
achieving a free state of soul and mind. 

These basic
purposes may be expanded to include self-realization for a higher
purpose or benefit to all beings, or used as a path to the full
realization or restoration of an individual created in the image of
God to his original state. 

There are
thousands of meditation methods and numerous types and categories
described. An extensive examination of the variation may be counter
productive in seeking an understanding of the basics of proper or
improper meditation. 

In order to
establish some frame of reference we will examine two types of
meditation concentrative or focused meditation
and what may be called mindfulness. 

In
concentrative meditation<A CLASS="sdfootnoteanc" NAME="sdfootnote2anc" HREF="#sdfootnote2sym">2</A>
you focus attention on
an object like a part of the body or an external object. Some will
focus on their breathing or a sound or group of sounds or tones. They
can include a wide range of activities from simple tapping or rigid
postures or positions, chanting and mantras but may even include
physical penance or in the extreme self torture and mutilation. 

These
practices are a lot more common in there simple forms and may be done
naturally with no association with the idea of meditation. Everything
from wiggling your foot to tapping your fingers to humming a tune or
repeating the same phrase or prayer over and over are all forms of
naturally occurring habits that have been associated in meditations.
These
focused meditation may
include some visualization. A focused
attention meditation is often found among Buddhist and Hindu meditations.
Some practitioners suggest that as you are able to deeply and
consistently focus your attention in meditation that you are
accomplishing the goal but in truth this may actually you are
defeating the actual beneficial use of this technique.
The
benefit of focused meditation is
not so much in developing the ability to force concentration but in
the observation and perception of what is already in you that may
distract you from that simple attempt at practicing a concentration
exercise. By the recognition of those source of these thoughts that
stir the imagination and keep us from quite observation we may come
to peace within the mind and body. These feelings and thoughts that
bubble up in us often come from unresolved events and issues from our
past and may require forgiveness and recompense to resolve their
emotional grip upon our mind and body. 
Another
type of meditation is >Mindfulness meditation<A CLASS="sdfootnoteanc" NAME="sdfootnote3anc" HREF="#sdfootnote3sym">3</A>
or open observation or monitoring of all
aspects of your personal experience as a passive unattached
spectator. You simply step back from the experience and observe all
thoughts or feelings or even external sensations of sound or smell
without reacting to them in each moment. 

The
practitioner quietly witnesses whatever goes through the mind, not
reacting or becoming involved with thoughts, memories, worries,
without judging these images or sensations. This produces a
non-reactive state of mind with a broad rather than focused field.
The intent is to rely upon looking into and observing things with
clarity and precision the products of the fundamental reality within
us without the bias that may be imposed upon our perception when we
rely on our ability to reason or rationalizing an answer.
In open
observation meditations you
will hear ideas like ‘quiet repose’ or ‘empty the
mind of self’ or ‘choiceless awareness’ or ‘access
the divine consciousness’. These types of
meditation techniques and there terminology are also seen in
Buddhist, Hindu and even in some Taoist meditations.
The
beneficial and detrimental mechanics of “meditations” may
be found in a wide variety of human activities completely unrelated
to what has become known as religion or even meditation itself.
There
are obvious forms of mental exercises or practices listed or
identified as meditation. There are many other activities and
contemplation using the same mechanisms as meditation that are not
immediately identified or related in our thinking to the term
meditation.
Reciting
the rosary may follow the same mechanics of a repetitious mantra type
meditation but never considered the same as similar use of prayer
beads used in Tibet. Focusing on the object of the Eucharist host at
catholic benedictions may also be categorized as meditation upon an
object. Statues may serve the same purpose, focusing attention. In
truth, even the singing the star Spangled Banner or pledging
allegiance to the flag may all fall within the categories of
meditation upon an object or idea in a ritual form of contemplation,
dedication and quiet solemnity invoking the same mechanics of
meditation seen many eastern or western religions.
 

<H3 CLASS="western">All thought is
Meditation</H3>
No
matter where you go, nor how you meditate, your constant companion
will be you.

When we awaken in the morning as we
begin the day it is a common practice to stretch. This is a natural
exercise of the body that begins the flow within the body and
prepares it for more physical activity. We may consciously create a
stretching and exercise routine with varying degrees of formality but
all will include some of the basics of natural stretching.

Natural meditation will utilize both
focused meditation and what may be called
mindfulness. Again focused
meditation is
the concentrative observation of something and mindfulness
 is the
detached or non judgmental observation of what interrupts the
original observation. In essence natural meditation is taking two
steps back into self. It is a journey within to know yourself and is
dependent upon your own intent more than upon the steps you take.


Without pure intent you will never arrive at a pure understanding but
with out taking the steps to see the truth you may never be able to
forgive, and therefore release yourself from the impurity of your
past or present intent.
Taking
the first step

An individual may sit down and quietly
become aware of his or her hand in a moment of dedicated and patient
contemplation.
</UL>

We may experience this naturally after
hours of intense work or physical exertion when we first stop to rest
the hands or body still pulsing or vibrating from the days labor
brings our attention to them. Your attention, in the moment, is
naturally focused in a state of acute contemplation on those natural
sensations, producing a feeling of objective and detached observation
or even euphoria. The work strengthens the body but in the rest the
body is strengthened if it is allowed to return to a restful state.

This natural reduction in the activities
of the mind and body produces that decreased heart and respiration
rate which may decrease those hormones that deal with natural stress.
The alpha brain waves may begin to generate a state of rest. But
thoughts of the day or even of the more distant past may enter into
the mind and keep us from a rest state that allows restoration. 


Sincere and loving meditation with an
unselfish and humble intent may help us reach the restoration. This
is no different that physical exercise may assist the body and
muscles. Meditation is simply a mental exercise as natural as
stretching or walking. It is the intent of your soul and the humble
conformity to the source of all life that will determine the outcome.

Many traumas of our past have been
covered over by “mental or emotional caps” often produced
by us or gleaned from the world around us to help us avoid the pain
of the trauma or the pain we experience when we recall the trauma of
the past. Confession is simply the bringing of that trauma into to
the light of our own consciousness.

These past traumas live in our
subconscious mind and body and will also bubble up to the surface of
our mind as we attempt to rest or even just focus on our physical
presence in the moment. Past trauma by their nature are at war with
the peace and quiet of the moment.

Natural Meditation is a war with our
past were we resist not the evil and pain of that past trauma but
embrace the truth and reality with God’s forgiveness and
recompense. We merely see what we refused to see before and wait upon
the Lord of creation without personal judgment.

The individual’s moment of
dedicated and patient contemplation upon his or her hand may be
interrupted by a variety of feelings, thoughts, emotions, images.
<LI>
Forgive the interruption. Do
not judge the event or yourself for not concentrating.
<LI>
Gently
return like the prodigal son to the quiet moment of dedicated and
patient contemplation of your physical self.

Know
this that the moment you caught your mind wandering was the moment of
mindfulness and the choice to return was the second step of a natural
process. Without the interruption there cannot be the second step.
When
you walk forward one foot must always stop the forward progress while
the other foot catches up and it is the same with Natural
meditations. There must be an interruption to the Physical
observation of your self by your internal or subconscious self in
order to make progress. That progress must be immersed in forgiveness
to allow the giving of life.
Natural
meditation must include letting go of judgment. We are fasting from
the process of judging others and ourselves.
Steps
in the world
Exercising
the body to make the muscles stronger has little value unless we turn
that ability into real work out in the world. We must take the
strength and peace we may obtain out into the world and interact in a
sharing and loving way with others so the true benefits of our
exercises, whether physical or mental, may be realized. This
interaction is essential to continue our journey. Contemplation in
isolation does not bring growth which leads to life. In order to have
life more abundant we must lay down our life as Christ did. Christ
came to serve, not to be served. He told us not to put our light
under a basket or in the dark cells of a cloistered monastery but to
share in love what God has given us freely.
