The word worship in the Old Testament is shachah החשׁ which is translated worship 99 times, but bow 31 times, bow down 18, obeisance 9, reverence 5, fall down 3, themselves 2, stoop 1, crouch 1, misc 3. It is defined "to bow down" "before superior in homage".

Giving allegiance or pledging allegiance to, paying homage to a superior, a lord, a god or The God, our father or patronus.

People are so stuck in the religious rut of modern superstitions. people think Religion Threskeia.... worship is ritualistic worship. Clapping, dancing, singing and praising

They even think the word threskos which some say derives from threomai meaning to tremble, but more modern scholars link it with therap- meaning to serve. The word therapon meaning Servant [Noun] and akin to therapeuo, "to serve, to heal, an attendant, servant," is a term of dignity and freedom, used of Moses in Heb 3:5. The word therapeia meaning Heal, Healing and is also akin to the same word therapeuo, primarily denotes the ideas of "care, attention." This makes since according to the context of James and the fact that mindless rituals makes no sense in early Israel nor the early church, nor the activities o Jesus nor would they bear fruit.

Some new that worship was real care for others yet people fail to do that which was called for and make a false religious rites out of what is not an element of His gospel...

Galatians 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
