Who was Caiaphas?

Did Jesus speak to Caiaphas like he spoke to Peter?

Did he become a Christian.

Matthew 26:3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

Matthew 26:57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus led [him] away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

Luke 3:2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

John 11:49 And one of them, [named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

John 18:13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

John 18:14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

John 18:24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

John 18:28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

Acts 4:6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

The main premise of premillennialism is that Jesus will literally return to the earth before (pre) the millennium begins and that He himself will inaugurate and rule over it.

This is also tied to Dispensationalism while the preterist believes Jesus did appear at the fall of Jerusalem when many prophesies were fulfilled.

The real question may be are we converted to Christ or just under a strong delusion.

Are we really Born again or are we decieved by the new religion born out of Constantine and his instant Christians.

What did Jesus say?

End times

Many of the doctrines professed today are the result of rational conclusions of theologians that may easily stray from the specifics of Jesus doctrines by slight shifts in perspectives or simply by not questioning criteria overlooked in the context of History at the time of Christ.

Eschatology is a limited part of theology concerned with the final events of history, or the ultimate destiny of humanity. This concept is commonly referred to as the "end of the world" or "end time".

Many of the modern doctrines of religions like Christianity can be heavily influenced by these theologians to the point where they have little in common with the actual words of Jesus Christ when he was preaching His gospel of the kingdom, instructing the people and His appointed ministers.

We may have to become like little children to actually understand the simplicity of the Doctrines of Jesus and look at all things anew.

Preterism holds that Ancient Israel finds its continuation or fulfillment in the Christian church at the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. The term preterism comes from the Latin praeter, which Webster's 1913 dictionary lists as a prefix denoting that something is "past" or "beyond".

The truth is that Jesus was the Highpriest that was to come after John the Baptist according to his own words. He was also the rightful "king of the Jews" according to Pontius Pilate the procreator of Rome>

Jesus took the kingdom from the Pharisees by their own testimony.[1]

There was no need for the destruction of Jerusalem but it was one itable.

Like Moses he appointed His own Sanhedrin and called out His own ministers.

Jesus made His prophecy about being seen in the clouds directly to Caiaphas. Did Jesus lie or trick or decieve this son in law of annanias?

Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." [2]

There is no mention of the "second coming". Just that Caiaphas would see him which may have been confirmed by Josephus.

Book IV -- From the Siege of Gamala to the Coming of Titus to besiege Jerusalem

Book V -- From the Coming of Titus to besiege Jerusalem to the Great Extremity to which the Jews were reduced

"[O]n the twenty-first day of the month of Artemisius [Jyar], a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared; I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it, and were not the events that followed it of so considerable a nature as to deserve such signals; for, before sunsetting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding of cities." Josephus The Wars of the Jews 6.5.3.

Tacitus in his The Histories 5.13.writes:

“In the sky appeared a vision of armies in conflict, of glittering armour.”

And in Pseudo-Hegesippus 44, a first-century pagan historian also describes the coming of Christ on the clouds with His mighty angels at that time when he writes,

“A certain figure appeared of tremendous size, which many saw, just as the books of the Jews have disclosed, and before the setting of the sun there were suddenly seen in the clouds chariots in the clouds and armed battle arrays by which the cities of all Iudaea and its territories were invaded.”

Did Caiaphus convert? Did Jesus tell him what he would see as he told Peter about his denial, in hope he would be saved?

Yehosef bar Kayafa (Joseph, son of Caiaphas), known more commonly as Caiaphas, was the Jewish high priest at the time of Jesus' trial. History. The Caiaphas ossuary is a highly decorated ossuary twice inscribed "Joseph, son of Caiaphas" which held the bones of a 60-year-old male. The limestone ossuary measures c. 37 cm (15 in) high by 75 cm (30 in) long and is housed in the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Two iron nails were also found in the tomb.

Did he convert?

Does it matter?

If early Christians continued being the One form of government Jesus appointed during the decline and fall of the Roman Empire then the rise of kings crowned by the Roman Church in 1066 and beyond was the rise of beasts and the unchaining of Satan. That would put the world in the period where they could all be deceived even the elect if it were possible.[3]
  1. John 19:14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priest answered, We have no king but Caesar.
  2. Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
  3. Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Is there more than one coming? Have you been seeking the kingdom of God? Have you a daily ministration? Have you practiced [[Pure Religion? Have you gathered in tens like Christ commanded?
