Bret Bohn was an Alaskan field guide.

He was a member of the National Honor Society, and achieved the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout and graduated in Aviation Technology.

He was healthy and athletic, He did develop afew nasal polyps which were surgically removed but grew back.

His doctor prescribed Prednisone — a powerful steroid and immune suppressant.

He developed insomnia which is side effects of Prednisone.

He went to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. Rather than stopping the use of the drug he was given Zolpidem (Ambien) and Lorazepam (Ativan) which treats depression which resulted in a seizures until he was in intensive care.

The situation went from bad to worse and the doctors would not admit blame for his condition.

"On November 5th, 2013, Adult Protective Services filed for emergency guardianship over Bohn, and the court soon granted it. His parents’ power of attorney was considered null and void. His written will was overridden." Read More

"With Bohn in the full custody of the Office of Public Advocacy, psychiatric doctors ordered that Bohn have no further visitation by anyone, claiming that isolation was in his best interest."[1]
